Natalie
Director of Services
Natalie has worked in the Violence Against Women & Girls sector for 20 years with a focus on safeguarding, partnership working, and innovation.
She is passionate about supporting families to flourish, and breaking down the practical and emotional barriers they might face. She has worked with volunteers, corporate partners and voluntary services to help people thrive, delivering support into employment, access to dedicated services, and digital solutions.
When she isn’t working, Natalie enjoys running, camping, and a good murder mystery!
Lorraine
Senior Family Support Coordinator
Lorraine has a passion for and considerable experience of supporting families to achieve the best outcomes for their children.
Sandra
Senior Family Support Coordinator
Sandra has been part of the team since January 2021. Before joining Home-Start she spent 15 years working with pre-school children, supporting children with additional needs in a West Sussex primary school and providing speech and language therapy to children of all ages in South-West Surrey.
Sandra has seen over the years how early intervention can make a real difference. She is a mum of three children, including twins, and is delighted to see parents of twins at our Twins and Multiples Group, making friends, supporting each other and sharing information and experiences.
Ali
Senior Family Support Worker
Ali joined Home Start Guildford in November 2024. Ali is passionate about providing early help support to parents and carers, so their children can achieve their full potential.
Ali runs two groups, Twins group and Family Group, both at Guildford Family Centre, alongside a Family Support role.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys meeting up with friends and going to see theatre shows, especially musicals.
Amel
Senior Family Support Worker
Amel joined Home-Start Guildford in October 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in family support, particularly in helping refugee families integrate and access essential community services. Prior to this role, she worked with Woking Borough Council, where she facilitated programs to support refugee families with resettlement, education, and wellbeing. Her background in medicine gives her a compassionate, holistic approach to family support, emphasizing both practical assistance and emotional wellbeing.
Amel is a mother of two and, outside work, she enjoys baking cakes for all occasions.
Frankie
Family Support Worker
Frankie joined Home-Start Guildford in September 2021 after volunteering for Home-Start Runnymede & Woking.
Frankie assists at our family group in Pirbright and home visits families to support them with challenges they may face. As a Family Support Worker Frankie enjoys being that listening ear, modelling positive play and help alleviate isolation.
Louisa
Business & Administration Manager
Louisa joined Home-Start Guildford in November 2023 and has an extensive background in administration and office management, with experience in a variety of educational and business settings. She enjoys playing her part in ensuring the smooth running of the office, as well as supporting staff and volunteers to do the wonderful job they do. Louisa also acts as secretary to the Board of Trustees.
