So how does it work?

Donating to Home-Start Guildford via JustGiving is simple and secure. Just click the button above, choose your donation amount, and follow the checkout steps (you can over type the minimum donation to your chosen amount, the minimum amount for processing purposes is £2.00).

You can either make a one-off donation or set up a regular donation monthly payment.

Automatic Tip – How to avoid it?

JustGiving is a free platform for our charity, which means we receive your donation without paying any fees. However, during the checkout process, JustGiving will automatically add a suggested tip to support their platform.  If you’d prefer all of your donation to go directly to Home-Start Guildford, you can easily change the tip amount to £0 – as per the graphic below.

Further Contact from Home-Start Guildford?

We’re always grateful for your support, and we love to say thank you and keep in touch – if you’re happy for us to do so.

During the JustGiving checkout process, you’ll see a few options about how we can contact you:

Anonymous Donations
You can choose to make your donation anonymous to the public. This means your name won’t appear on our JustGiving page, but we’ll still receive your donation.

Further Contact
If you opt out of this, we won’t contact you personally to say thank you. However, you’ll still receive an automated thank you message after your donation is processed.

Donation Consent – Want to stay in touch?
You’ll be asked whether you’re happy for Home-Start Guildford to keep in touch with you by email. This includes updates about the impact of your donation and other ways you can support us in the future.  If you opt out, you won’t be added to our mailing list.

If you have any questions about how your information is used or would like to update your preferences, please contact our office at office@hsguildford.org.uk.
