We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr. Mike Parsons, and local councillors to our AGM on 5th October. Our Chair, Hugh Shanks, reported that in 2017/18 home-visiting volunteers supported a record number of 115 families. One of the mums who has been supported by a volunteer shared her story, adding “I don’t know where we would be without the wonderful support we received. It helped me get my life together again and be the mum I wanted to be to our two small children. They changed our lives for the better and we got to live again.”
