Home-Start Guildford’s Patrons joined their guests on 8th February to enjoy an evening learning about Surrey Hill wines from Alex Valsecchi, the Vineyard Manager at Albury Vineyard. Along with tasting their award-winning wine, our guests enjoyed delicious canapés prepared using local produce by The Drunken Mouse. The event was kindly hosted at the Guildhall in Guildford by The Mayor of Guildford, Cllr. Mike Parsons who shared with us the history of this landmark building. Finally, our guests heard from one of our volunteers, Kirsty, about her experience supporting a local family. Our thanks to everyone who made this evening possible including the wonderful volunteers from the law firm, Pennington Manches.
