Our Annual Review took place at The County Club in Guildford and was a wonderful afternoon!
It was a great opportunity to hear from two of our families and meet up with the team and other colleagues. Our Chair of Trustees, Katie McGuire, welcomed everyone to the event and provided an overview of our financial position, whilst our Manager, Sarah Black, gave an interesting report on Home-Start Guildford’s actives over the last 12 months, as well as some highlights of what’s in store for the coming year.
We heard from some wonderful speakers throughout the event and would like to thank them once again – the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Sallie Barker for providing the welcome speech, Jo who spoke so refreshingly in person, Anna who took time to record her journey for us and Anna Rogerson from Citizens Advice South West Surrey who gave us an overview of social health in the Guildford borough.
